At this tour, you’ll gain exposure to the beginning stages of construction of the Outpatient Medical Center.
Because this tour is early in the construction process, visitors will see intricate connection details using different materials, beginning phases of the envelope design and overall progress of the medical facility.
The project will consolidate ambulatory care specialty clinics and public health services currently in multiple locations. The vision is to create a centralized ambulatory care environment focusing on exceptional patient experience, improvement of operational excellence and flexibility on space assignment over time.
Attendees can view the solution which is a -seven story building providing:
Exceptional energy management in the envelope design which was severely challenged by direct west sun into the public concourse.
A physical configuration using the on-stage/off-stage concept and a single-loaded public pathway that simplifies patient and family navigation and reinforces way-finding with daylight all along this pathway.
A highly visible icon defining the “gateway” into the DH campus, contributing new green and hard public space to the Denver landscape.
Off-stage teamwork core enhancing focus and collaboration in a day-lit environment.
